When asked to design a visual identity for a project to start up a Swedish primary school in Barcelona, we wanted the identity to convey the sunny and bright colours of the city, while clearly speaking about Sweden.

The solution of using overprinting colours came from the notion that Catalonia is really two cultures, the Spanish and Catalan, now mixing with the Swedish. We developed this idea into a playful graphic theme, always involving three elements.
